Been Gone for a Minute...
Wow! I haven't posted in such a long time but I'm still here!! So much has happened in that long amount of time. I kept working on getting my feet wet and participated in 2 more shows and did fairly well. However, an extremely small wrench was thrown in my Jonesies' Bowsies plans and I moved to a new state to pursue another side of my "day job". With new scenery comes a new clientele which is exciting. In this new stage of life, I am exploring more facets of my creativity and striving to stretch myself. So with that, keep an eye out for some interesting new things.

Halloween=My First Booth!
Halloween is filled with so much excitement. Costumes. Candy. Fun. And now, my first fair!
I'm extremely excited, but I wasn't always feeling that way. I actually had an overwhelming feeling of nervousness. I have never participated in a fair and I was nervous to ask to be a vendor at this fair. To my surprise, they were extremely receptive to the idea. I had never made more than eight bows at one time and I didn't know if I could product that many high quality bows at one time. In two weeks, I produced about 100 bows (in which I am happy with). I had never told my coworkers that I created bows and now the secret was out. I didn't know how they would respond to my creative outlet but they have been extremely supportive. One even ordered four pairs for her granddaughters!
I don't know how this booth is going to work for me logistically but I know that it will most definitely be a learning process. I am optimistic that it will be successful and I am especially grateful for my sister who has agreed to volunteer her time with me at this fair.
The butterflies are still fluttering in my tummy but I know I cannot become any greater if I do not encounter opportunities that will stretch me in all facets of this adventure.

A New Adventure
I am a lover of adventure and with that I decided to embark on a different kind of adventure-JONESIES' BOWSIES!
About me: I started Jonesies' Bowsies on a whim. I loved bows and everywhere I went, I would buy a bow (or 2 or 3). After a while, I thought to myself, 'I could really do this!' I taught myself, tried it and I was pleased with what I came up with. I figured it was time to share my talent with with the world. I am excited to see where I will take these bows and equally excited to see these bows will take me. Now, I will be continuously striving for improvement and an evolving sense of creativity. I hope you love my bows as much as I love each one of them! Thank you for taking part in this adventure with me!
About the bows: Each bow is attached to a small alligator clip which allows more versatility. You can not only attach the clip to your hair but also to a headband or beanie. The possibilities are endless!
Feel free to browse around--it doesn't hurt to look :)
More bows to come!
